Mobberley Charity Ball
It is with sincere thanks that the Mobberley Charity Ball Organising Committee are writing to you.
We are pleased to say that the Ball was a great success. There was much excitement and laughter and it was fabulous to see the community come together enjoying themselves.
Did we manage to raise any money for our charities this year as a result of the evening? Yes, we raised a staggering £4,000 which will be split between the two charities, Friends of St. Wilfrids and Mampong Babies Home in Ghana. We cannot thank you enough for your support, as without this the event could not have taken place.
We are also pleased to say that we have had numerous requests to repeat the event next year, so we hope from now on it will be a major part in the Mobberley social calendar. If you would like to be involved or have any suggestions for next year, then please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail.
We hope in the meantime that you are supported by the local community as you have supported us through the Balls' inaugural year.
