The Lowry Hotel
First of all may I wish you and your colleagues a Happy New Year.
Thank you for your and your colleagues' hard work and effort that went into the spectacular firework display you put on for us here at the hotel on New Year's Eve. I viewed the display from the Presidential Suite and it was very impressive.
Although the weather was damp and the smoke did hang around the plaza, I think this was only at a low level and as most guests viewed the fireworks from the River Restaurant or the Grand Ballroom, no-one realised!
We received positive feedback for the night from our guests both on the night and on their check-out the following morning and many mentioned the fireworks in particular. I think the fireworks went a long way to make the night memorable.
Indeed, the plaza was left immaculate and I thank you for the time taken to do this. The refreshments were courtesy of the hotel and there was never an issue of cost to you.
We are already starting to think about Christmas and New Year 2006/7 and as soon as we have made firm decisions, I am sure I will be in touch with you.
